Aura group gift!

By now most people have either visited the new round of FaMESHed or have seen most of what it has to offer through the feeds.  Tyr Rozenblum of Aura has a gorgeous, mesh sundress out at the event.  She also put out a mint version in her store free for her VIP group.  The group does have a fee, which went up quite a bit not to long ago, but it's so worth it.  Tyr gives out the best gifts!  Have a look and then stop by the store to see this and all the past gifts she has out on the wall for her VIPS.

Fun with blocks!

I was poking through my inventory tonight when I came by this pose prop by Bent! lost in the mess that is my current objects folder.  I meant to show this to you awhile ago but it got a bit buried and forgotten.  So, I figured I'd do a quick post and show you now.  It's loaded with ten different poses and is unlike anything else you'll have in your inventory I bet.  Very fun to play with.  Here's two of the poses you can choose from.

Aura Vip's!

There are big changes coming to Aura, well the VIP group anyway.  As of midnight, May 12th the cost for joining the VIP group will be going up.  But with it you'll be getting some pretty great bonus', including 15% credit reward on single purchases and 20% on fatpacks.  There will also be a gift wall so you don't have to worry about missing those great VIP gifts!  The group is just 250L to join right now, so get in before the price goes up!

New Mesh @ Aura and Boom!

Holy cow I've blogged two days in a row!  Very rare lately.. and of course after I post saying I won't be around much.  But anyway!  Aura and Boom both have new meshy goodness out for you that you must have!  First up is Aura with her mesh remake of her Class Act Pants!  These are some of my favorite pants from her and a mesh version is just yay!  And might I mention.. {TokiD} has mesh now too!  (Only 50L for the tank!)  Must have!  Anyway, have a look!

And now for Boom!  These dresses are gorgeous!  Definately a must try!  And they come in a whole bunch of great colors so you're bound to find one that you can't live without.

I'm still here!

I really am!  Just lost some motivation and creativeness the last few days and sadly that equaled no blogposts.  But, I have new stuff to show you today!  So yay!  Have you heard of the new store on the grid called Barbiedoll yet?  It's a side project from Whisper Mizin and Lapik Perlman, the owners of Delusions and Sorry Asia.  One of their new releases is three sets of lipstick tattoo layers.  I picked one from each pack to show you.  From top to bottom we have.. Sugar Lipstick 04, Lustful 05, and Cotton Candy 03.  And as you can see they go so very perfectly with the new skin from AMD, Giselle (shown in tan). And speaking of Delusions, the dress that finally pulled my look together is new at Delusions.. this sexy little mini is called Karma Dress.  It comes in a few different colors but black is almost always my goto.

The earrings, Dia De Los Muertos (shown in Overcast), are new from Aura.  These are gorgeous!  Tyr did an amazing job on these.  I don't really do earrings very often because my hair usually is covering my ears or close to but for these I went out searching for a new hair to be able to show them off.  (Yay for the sale at Elikatira that let me pick up this hair cheap!)  These were available at the Knitting Circle Bake Sale this past weekend (yea, I know I'm late!).  (Okay, so I just ran and checked, at the time of posting they were still out though!) Oh, and I also forgot to mention, these are mesh!

And the rest of the jewelry needs a mention too.  I'm absolutely hooked on Amorous, if you haven't been able to tell from my last bunch of blogposts.  I picked up the necklace (Tungsten) and bracelets (Animosity) both there.  If you haven't been there yet check it out!  And last but definately not least is this eye set from les Fleurs du Male that Aymeric Pelazzi was sweet enough to share with me.  These are the Drake eyes and I picked three of my favorites out of the pack to show you.  I love the color combinations, they're so pretty.  Left to right is Poison, Dream, and Ice&Fire.

The Anticipation is Over!

First and foremost I wanted to welcome Chaotic Monday to my blog! I'm so excited to have her as a contributor to The Clothing Asylum! And this is our first collaborative post too. \O/ So on to the actual post!

Two of my most anticipated stores of 2010 (2011?) are finally open!  Illusory and Aura!  I managed to stay away from Illusory the first day it opened because I knew exactly what would happen... can we say shopping spree? lol Yea, my willpower isn't very good, what can I say? So I left the store a whole lot more broke after buying the brown goat socks, horns, and the Tanned Paige (stained) skin. I also had to stop by Aura before I left and join the group, which is where I picked up the super cute Taking it easy mini I'm wearing, which is one of, like, six or seven group gifts Tyr has laying out around the store. Definitely worth the $400 entry fee for the group. Soooo...  wanna see all this stuff I've been blathering on about? Of course you do!
