52 Weeks of Color: Folly

Welcome to another brand new week for the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.  This week's color is folly!  Looking at the color swatch last week I was a little wary about it but with the release of Somnia's new Taken Names Set, available at Back to Black, I knew exactly what I wanted to do this week.  So much fun!  Have a look!

Get Comfy with Back to Black

Back to Black is open for business!  But before you run off to see what all the amazing designers have out for you, I thought I'd give you another quick preview!  Starting with the beautiful skin, Emmy, that AV!Sage has out for you and these super comfy Sweat Pants from Iren!  Oh and did I mention the sweatpants are mesh?  Makes them even that much better!  You can also pick up the poses I'm using below called Wish Pose Pack, from Aushka & Co.

You need more then one set of comfy clothes for lounging around in, or heading to the gym if you're so inclined, and you can grab these two from Izzies and Shush.  And just in case you do journey out, you need a great bag, right?  Make sure to stop by Aura's stand and check this one out!

Lindsay - New at Filthy!

Meet Lindsay!  She's the newest creation from Alexandra Barcelos, owner of Filthy.  Lindsay isn't just another skin though, her head is mesh.  So what you see is really what you get.  Because of the fact that the head is mesh you have to wear the shape that comes with her for it to fit properly.  This is probably my only issue with the idea of a mesh head.  I don't tend to change my shape for anything.  Maybe a little tweak here or there but not a full out change.  That being said this isn't rigged mesh so it is possible to resize it with the script included.

Included with the skin/head are four pairs of prim eyes, body skins with and without cleavage, as well as eight different makeups with and without hairbases.  Oh, and the shape of course. Stop by the store and give her a look.  She's definately worth a try!

CHIC Management is back with another great event.  Back to Black is an awareness event (not charity!) making people aware of the various disorders that fall under the scope of mental health.  As someone who has battled depression for years, as well as watching family go through it this is an event that is close to my heart.  And I thought it fitting to share this event since The Black and Blue Fair, in June 2010, was one of the first posts I ever made on this blog.  (Please don't laugh to much!)
