52 Weeks of Color - Madder Lake Deep

Yes, that's apparently a color.  Who knew?!  Anyway!  It's the next to last week for the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.  It's gone so fast!  As I mentioned in the title the color this week is Madder Lake Deep.  I had problems finding something just right this week so I went a tad lighter with the graphic on my shirt and a little darker with the sweater.  Love how it turned out anyway, even if it wasn't right on.  Have a look!

Back to Black

CHIC Management is back with another great event.  Back to Black is an awareness event (not charity!) making people aware of the various disorders that fall under the scope of mental health.  As someone who has battled depression for years, as well as watching family go through it this is an event that is close to my heart.  And I thought it fitting to share this event since The Black and Blue Fair, in June 2010, was one of the first posts I ever made on this blog.  (Please don't laugh to much!)

 I'm tired and a bit on the silly side today so I thought why not ride around on my toy horse in my undies!  Isn't that what most sane people do to relieve their boredom?  No?  Well.. that's alright.  I still love my hobby horse from Adorkable Poses.  You can grab one too by stopping by and checking out the Proposer's Hunt!

A Whole Lotta Mischief

Have you checked out Mischief yet?  If not you definately should.  There are all sorts of cuteness to be had.  I've been holding onto a few different outfits from Mischief for awhile now trying to decide what exactly I wanted to do with them but when Ed Papp, the designer behind the store dropped her newest release the Soft Night Dress on me last night I thought it was the perfect time to put those outfits to use and show off her talent.

First off, that new release I mentioned!  It comes with everything shown, besides the skin and hair, of course (which I've blogged tons before).  The very cute pose and all the poses I'm using in this post are from Adorkable's new pose pack, Pencil and come with mirrored poses as well as the regular version.

Edd makes all sorts of really cute sweaters and dresses.  Here's a quick lineup of some of my favorites!  Jeans are also from Mischief and come in a variety of shades as you can see.

Down on the Farm

I'm in absolute love with the new Long Sleeve Plaid Shirt Onyx Wear has out right now.  It just screamed farm to me so that's where I headed for pics.  I found myself at this cute little farm in the heart of the Mississippi Delta.

I layered my Plaid Shirt over the Flimsy Plungie Blouse from Kyoot that were up (and still are if you haven't grabbed it yet) for 50L Friday.  Paired with the Tiny Open Shorts from T&A Designs and I think it says farmer's daughter.  Don't you? 

Afterward I grabbed my hubby for a quick picture with one of my favorite seasonal props from Adorkable, Dork Patch.  It has poses for up to four people and I guarantee you'll be seeing this one again before halloween is over.

A little of this and that..

This post truly started out with a clear mission but it slowly deviated when a couple friends joined me.

First there was Melita. We ended up sat in front of this great hay bail conversation set that Tweety from T&A Designs sent out in her group awhile back. We're both wearing a couple of the great tshirts you can pick up from LiQSuM. Mine is called Goth Fairy and Melita is wearing Sofa King. The very cute bat necklace, that I promise a better picture of soon, is a new release from Concrete Flowers and comes with earrings and ring to match. And last but not least are those great orange cuffs from Bubble. You'll be able to pick those up tomorrow at the FTLO Halloween grounds for the start of their Gatcha Festival. They come in tons of great colors so make sure you snag them while you can!

And then we gained Angel and the Down on the Farm pose from Adorkable was a must. I swear they're plotting to dump me at any moment. You gotta watch those two.. they were plotting.. I know it.

Oh and I forgot to mention the skin.. how I forgot the skin is beyond me because it's my fave purchase as of late! The one I'm wearing in all of the above is the Project Themory release from Tyranny D/Gryxdale. Teagan is available in three great shades for only 75L a skin! Make sure you grab it while you can!
