Lindsay - New at Filthy!

Meet Lindsay! She's the newest creation from Alexandra Barcelos, owner of Filthy. Lindsay isn't just another skin though, her head is mesh. So what you see is really what you get. Because of the fact that the head is mesh you have to wear the shape that comes with her for it to fit properly. This is probably my only issue with the idea of a mesh head. I don't tend to change my shape for anything. Maybe a little tweak here or there but not a full out change. That being said this isn't rigged mesh so it is possible to resize it with the script included.

Included with the skin/head are four pairs of prim eyes, body skins with and without cleavage, as well as eight different makeups with and without hairbases. Oh, and the shape of course. Stop by the store and give her a look. She's definately worth a try!

CHIC Management is back with another great event. Back to Black is an awareness event (not charity!) making people aware of the various disorders that fall under the scope of mental health. As someone who has battled depression for years, as well as watching family go through it this is an event that is close to my heart. And I thought it fitting to share this event since The Black and Blue Fair, in June 2010, was one of the first posts I ever made on this blog. (Please don't laugh to much!)

Hugo's Design

I'd seen stuff about this store from time to time but I never really bothered to go check it out, even though I kept telling myself I would, that is until yesterday. What better motivation to actually get you moving then the words *free* and *hunt*? Well, it works for me anyway. And if you're a fan of latex you really need to check this store out for yourself.

While you're there make sure you grab "Stripped" for free, which comes in a variety of colors. Here are my favorites, black and red.

And, as I mentioned above, there's also a hunt going on. Find all the little red boxes scattered around the store and you create this outfit, Artemis.

After walking by the new section yet again while doing the hunt, I finally decided I couldn't leave without picking up a little something(s). From left to right, this is the Ursa Corset (baby pink), Ursa Suit (black), and the Xyx Garter Set (purple).

Yabusaka, Petite Avatar Kingdom

Have you seen the new Petites collaboration at Yabusaka, Petite Avatar Kingdom? Fallen Gods has these amazing new mesh avatars out for sale. They come in crystals, draco and elves and have clothing choices to match each one. I absolutely love the crystals line but they're all amazing and you have to go see them for yourself. Wasabi Pills also has out mesh hair to match, made exclusively for these tiny avatars. How great is that? Here's a sampling of what you can find.

You can also find a new set of dresses from G Field made for them. The dresses are adorable and come complete with a wreath for the head, leg ribbon, and wings that match each dress. Oh, and like the rest of the set, the dresses are mesh as well!

Tao

Fallen Gods has a brand new skin out, Tao. The skin comes in black and white versions and included with the skin are tattoo skin overlays, one black and one white, not only can you wear these tattoo layers with the Tao skins to create this effect but you can wear them with any Fallen Gods skin. (Though they work best with the second generation ones.) Also included with the skin are the eyes. I'm wearing just the basic Yin/Yang ones in the picture below but you also get prim eyes in black and white. There are so many possibilies with this skin line that you have to check it out. And if this skin goes over well this is just the start of a wider range of half skins that Alia has planned for the future. Exciting!

I was going to post this quick in the morning before work but I'm not sure I'll have time, so here we go.. Boom has new goodies out to keep you snuggly warm for the winter months, and they're mesh! I've been a huge fan of Fallen Gods for quite a long time now. I know I've said before that her skins are my favorite fantasy skins by far and it's so true. Her newest addition to the Crystal line, the ice tone is no exception. These faes are gorgeous and so beautifully detailed. I'm also wearing the first of a new series of matching outfits available for the Crystals collection that you can also find in the store. You really need to see them for yourself.

Well, it's cupcakes, of course, the shirt don't lie. But it's also the brand new mesh sweatshirt dress from Villena and new hair (well at least it's new since I've been there) from Wasabi Pills. There's nothing about this look I don't love, including the new Boston Pants that are new at NV. It's so warm and comfy and that hair is just adorable. The hair comes with a clip or ribbon option and both are color change via the hud included.

A new session of Collabor88 has started and as always there are a lot of great finds to be had. One of my favorites, as I've said before is Lisp Bazaar. The floor cushions as well as the accessories (socks, Pouf with Hot Chocolate Tray, and Warm Chocolate Mug, which are found in the Collab Decor Pack) are thanks to Lisp.

I have so much great stuff to show you that I didn't know what to do next! Each store has an exclusive item out at the event and the ones from Damned and Sakide were the first I went looking for. Damned has out a new skin for you, the Izriel Skin (ears included) and Sakide has out these very pretty Fairy Dresses in Dark Winter, Light Winter and Christmas versions. Each dress has two skirt versions and includes the flower I'm wearing in my hair. I grabbed a another shade of the Xmas eyes, Silver Bells this time around, from Insufferable Dastard, my go to stop for all things eyes, and finished it off with the Frozen Dew Necklace from PurpleMoon Creations.

Filthy has a brand new skin out! Gorgeous as always, Laika is a must have for any fans of Alexandra Barcelos' skins. Besides the skin, Tyr Rozenblum has some newness out at Aura that are must haves, including the sexy, little Racing Stripe Dress that I'm wearing today. And last but not least the leggings, which are highwaisted (the dress kinda covers up that little detail) are by Becks Ysabel. Many of you may know Becks as being one of the two designers of Glue Ink, well, now across from Glue Ink is her brand new store IMIJ. Must check it out!

Perfect Wardrobe 2

The theme this week for the Perfect Wardrobe event is Music. Lots of great designers this week with some great new stuff for you to snag. Here's a sampling of some of what you can find.

Now what in all that can you find at the Perfect Wardrobe event? Most of it! Let's start on the left (well the two on the left!) and work our way over, shall we?

First up, from Epic, we have the super cute Kawaii Boombox Backpack. And the outfit, which is showing better in the next pic over is the outfit Belote has out for you, called Rockstar Shirt and Shorts. Next pic is a mix from a few different stores, starting with the very cute Cassette Tops from Izzies, you can't see it very well but you also get a microphone necklace with the shirts. The belt, which comes with a seperate keychain is called Bass Down Low Belt and Keychain and is from Delusions. And the last bit of that look would be the jeans from [trs] which are part of the Rock Girl Outfit that they have out.

And finally the closeup... first and foremost, the skin can be found at the event and is from Barbiedoll. This one is Lula - Emo Princess. I matched it with Sorry Asia's Boom Boom Eyes in Night and the piercing which I showed you yesterday (though I added the lip attachment this time around) from [ni.ju] called Amped. And last but not least of that look is the dress, Music Life, from Sakide.

I really am! Just lost some motivation and creativeness the last few days and sadly that equaled no blogposts. But, I have new stuff to show you today! So yay! Have you heard of the new store on the grid called Barbiedoll yet? It's a side project from Whisper Mizin and Lapik Perlman, the owners of Delusions and Sorry Asia. One of their new releases is three sets of lipstick tattoo layers. I picked one from each pack to show you. From top to bottom we have.. Sugar Lipstick 04, Lustful 05, and Cotton Candy 03. And as you can see they go so very perfectly with the new skin from AMD, Giselle (shown in tan). And speaking of Delusions, the dress that finally pulled my look together is new at Delusions.. this sexy little mini is called Karma Dress. It comes in a few different colors but black is almost always my goto.

The earrings, Dia De Los Muertos (shown in Overcast), are new from Aura. These are gorgeous! Tyr did an amazing job on these. I don't really do earrings very often because my hair usually is covering my ears or close to but for these I went out searching for a new hair to be able to show them off. (Yay for the sale at Elikatira that let me pick up this hair cheap!) These were available at the Knitting Circle Bake Sale this past weekend (yea, I know I'm late!). (Okay, so I just ran and checked, at the time of posting they were still out though!) Oh, and I also forgot to mention, these are mesh!

And the rest of the jewelry needs a mention too. I'm absolutely hooked on Amorous, if you haven't been able to tell from my last bunch of blogposts. I picked up the necklace (Tungsten) and bracelets (Animosity) both there. If you haven't been there yet check it out! And last but definately not least is this eye set from les Fleurs du Male that Aymeric Pelazzi was sweet enough to share with me. These are the Drake eyes and I picked three of my favorites out of the pack to show you. I love the color combinations, they're so pretty. Left to right is Poison, Dream, and Ice&Fire.

Perfect Wardrobe

Who doesn't love shopping? And who doesn't love getting an awesome deal? Exactly! Starting tomorrow there's going to be a fab new shopping event opening called Perfect Wardrobe and you must check it out! You'll be able to pick up some great stuff from stores like BarbieDoll, Sorry Asia, Delusions, Divine, annaA, Puncture, Sakide, Izzies.. the list goes on! Want a sneakpeak of what you're going to have to choose from? I know you did! Have a look!

I repeated a couple things so I'll just give you the highlights of what I'm wearing and from who. On the left the skin, called Fallskin is from Damned. The piercing is curtesy of one of my new favorite piercing places called Puncture and is called Dermal Gemstone -Throat- (I was so excited to see she was part of this!), the shirt is a version of the Cozy Fall Sweater that I showed you a couple days ago, this time in blue and the pants are from BC and are their Fall Pants in brown. In the center the skin is thanks to Essences and is called Mara and that great outfit (top and high waisted skirt) is from Sakide. And finally on the right, the skin is from BarbieDoll and is called Luna and the Double Sweater is from {K}Rea.

The owners of Delusions and Sorry Asia, Lapik Perlman and Whisper Mizin, are the creators of Perfect Wardrobe and will have some great stuff out for you tomorrow as well!

I might be biased because I really love all of Sorry Asia's skins but this one is perfect. This is Gaitana -heavy rain-. The mouthy beads I'm wearing are from Delusions are part of a set called Pink Escapades and comes with a face tattoo (not shown). And last but certainly not least, Delusions also has this full body tattoo out for you called, Bittersweet Fall. If you're a fan of Delusions tattoos you're going to want to snag this one.
